Today's walk with Jo was up to High Nook Tarn

Today Jo and I waited until the weather improved to give us a sunny afternoon out.

We walked up to the delightful High Nook Tarn, returnng via Holme Woods to see the spectacular Holme Force, running well due to the recent wet weather.

We watched as Dave Allen of High Nook farm moved his sheep into this field.

Jodie seems to be struggling to keep her tongue under control !
The tarn was full to the brim and it was very soggy all around.

Not deterred, harry took full advantage of the water for a swim.

Harry always looks very slim when his coat is flattened by water !

I'm very popular all of a sudden ! The treats bag is out !

High Nook Tarn can be seen behind us as we ascend the path above Holme Woods. (photo by Jo)

The beck flows under the bridge on it's way down towards Loweswater.

Time for Harry, Bethan and Jodie to play in Loweswater.
