Unfortunately Roger was at work for the day and couldn't join us.

Grasmoor is the fell to the left, the High Stile ridge to the right. Rannerdale can be seen at the side of Crummock with Haystacks behind.

Fellbarrow is the rising fell on the left.

Polly enjoys chewing a log complete with vegetation !

John enjoys a mid-walk snack, much to the interest of the dogs !

John relaxes after our lunch just below Low Fell's southern summit.

Harry and Bethan wait at the Pine Tree for John and Jo to join us
They are traversing the steep front slope of Low Fell.

A final view of the valley as we make our way down from the Tree and back to the Cottage.

.All that remained after a cup of tea and cake, was for myself to be dropped off to collect the car at Thackthwaite.
