Time and place : Wednesday 16th Aug 2003 The Buttermere Valley, Cumbria UK.

Occasion : A Walk with Jill, Nigel, Richard and Matthew Batchelor, Anne and Andrew Leaney, Andy, Loraine, Ann and the dogs.

Walk details : 5.4 mile walk from Buttermere Church, up High Snockrigg, Robinson, Hindscarth and Dale Head.

2728 feet of ascent. 6hrs approx.

Weather :Warm and dry with occasional cloud cover. Slight breeze on top.

Robinson summit - time for a break.

Loraine said goodbye here as she continued the walk at a faster pace due to evening committments.

Evening refreshments, and someone else does the washing up . . . hurray !
